A Very Speschial Sunday with LuxO
While the elites were chasing sprint World Cup points in Sweden, LuxO organized its own urban competition on Sunday in the medieval town of Esch-sur-Sûre as part of the O2 Lux series. We welcomed 72 competitors mostly from Luxembourg and neighbouring Belgium, but also from as far away as Bavaria. The weather gods were on our side as the heavy overnight rain stopped just in time for the race, and there was great ambiance at our usual "competition centre" on the bench by the river. We were even joined by Mireille Welter, the town Mayor! Runners from ASUB and SudOLux dominated the results, with François van der Ouderaa clocking the fastest time on the long course and Vivien Thiry taking the middle course.
Next stop: a Wednesday LuxSul event in Walferdange!
