  • Germany  orienteering  race  event of the month

Information from Sven:

We are organizing "26th International Open City Masters Trier" at that date. Therefore the known map "Tarforst-Filsch" is completely updated and new-mapped geo-referenced by new ISOM2017-mapping-norm.

You will find the announcement at https://gymnasion-offenbach.de/ol/2018/03/06/triersm2018/triersm2018.html - but it's only available in German. Enrollments should be done by GOtoOL: http://maud.conit.com:1983/enroll/55/single or alternative by e-mail at o-lauf@gymnasion-offenbach.de.

The "Offen kurz"-category will be so the same course as D-10/H-10 so it will be following ways and pathes or orienteeing lines like gullys or grassland borders. So it will be easily to walk or run and only about 2 km running-distance. The "Offen lang" will be probably at the D11-14/H11-14 and a bit more difficult and longer (~3 km).

It would be nice to know in advance the approximate number of starters but in that open categories we will have more vacanties than at the masters-classes so it will normally be possible to enroll on the day as well.
