Meet at |
Playground Léo Moulin (take the path next to 1 Rue Dominique Lang, for example) (see map attached) Public transport: Bus 29 or 7 from the Gare Centrale or 7 or 25 from Kirchberg to bus stop “Carmel” or 14 from city center (Hamilius/Badanstalt) to bus stop “Paul Albrecht”. Train (towards Wasserbillig) from Gare Centrale is fast, but Cents-Hamm station is still 1 km away (buses 7, 29, and 25 stop at the Cents-Hamm station). Note: Due to road works, bus 14 does not serve the “Paul Albrecht” stop towards the city. When leaving the event, use the “Carmel” bus stop instead. Parking: Good amount of parking spots along Allée du Carmel (free after 18:00) or other nearby streets. Traffic note: Due to road works, it is not possible to drive from Allée du Carmel to Rue Cents. When leaving the event, use Rue Camille Polfer. |

Facilities |
None at all, but you can leave bags. Toilet is available for “emergencies”. The club canopy will be set up in case of rain. |

Start times |
18:00-19:00. Controls will be removed after 20:00. |

Entries |
No fee – but please sign up via the Calendar on the Club website, saying which course you would like to do. Or let orienteer@orienteering.lu know at least a day in advance if you plan to come, and are not a LuxO member. |

Start point |
Start and finish are in the close proximity of the meeting point. |

Format |
Two courses, Deer (5.0 km) and Rabbit (3.0 km). Distances are straight line. Optimal routes are about 30% longer. Controls must be visited in the order set. Flags are 15cm kites. |

Timing |
“Punching” using SPORTident (SIAC enabled). Bring your SI “dibber” if you have one, but if not, you are welcome to borrow one of the club’s. Results will be published, and included in the LuxSUL league table. |

1:5000, A4 size, 5m contours. |

Terrain |
Residential area with numerous parks and playgrounds and the Cents school campus. Plenty of small (paved) paths. Overall very little climb. |

Safety |
Everyone takes part entirely at their own risk. Please take great care, especially on or crossing the more main roads, around garage entrances with sometimes poor visibility, and around the numerous road works. |

The weather forecast looks great, so there will be some refreshments and snacks after the race. There will also be a very short "Squirrel" course entirely within the playground. This is aimed for the ~5-year-olds as a map-reading exercise.
