Two years after the first edition, which took place on the cobblestones and in the alleys of Brussels city centre, the BOM is returning in 2016 with something completely different: the unique urban terrain of Louvain-la-Neuve. This city that was founded out of nothing in 1969 seems to have been specially designed for the enjoyment of orienteers: underpasses, walkways, alleys, stairs, parks … and many other surprises. So no race in the centre of Brussels is offered this time, but instead, a fascinating university town south of the Belgian capital.

The BOM, a long distance urban orienteering race, is organized by Altaïr CO, orienteering club in the region of Walloon Brabant, in close collaboration with the LOST (Louvain Orientation Sport Team).

To complete the weekend, the day before the BOM, on Saturday, September 17, 2016, a middle distance forest race is organized by ASUB (Brussels-based orienteering club) near Brussels.

Do not miss out on this event! Whatever your experience in orienteering: fun is guaranteed.
